Cafe Mandelring in Neustadt an der Weinstrasse

Very nice old house. Unfortunately, the sometimes strange decoration and inconsistent furnishings spoil some of the flair. The lady of the house looks a bit stiff; I just nodded that as shyness. The café is not particularly professional. More like a cozy living room where the nephew serves. The espresso was unfortunately not great. I hope that more effort will be put into service in the future. The shop has real potential for 5 stars. Of course I would love to give it if something changes.

Very strange. We also didn't feel welcome and rather uncomfortable. No one was greeted and on my "Have a nice Sunday" I only saw my back. The antique furniture is very beautiful, however, some self-painted pictures were combined, which in no way contribute to a pleasant atmosphere. The prices and the quantities were ok. Coffee and cake tasted average.

A small and cozy cafe, restored with great attention to detail. There are home-baked cakes (also gluten-free!), Freshly brewed coffee or tea. Here you feel transported back to an era in which people still had time. Anyone who wants to "quickly drink a coffee" somewhere and would like to "enjoy" a cake from the assembly line is wrong here. The many regulars appreciate the personal service. I can not understand some reviews ...

Fresh home-baked cake, enjoyable coffee and the most original coffee. Furnished with vintage furniture and crockery from the past, a little journey through time tells the coffee. There are games for all ages and a grand piano as a cake stand, I think he is also recordable cozy.
